Hi, I’m Lisa – the hands (and steady piping bags!) behind Sugar Bites Houston here in Houston, Texas.

After spending 25 years as a legal assistant, I traded in my highlighters and case files for rolling pins and royal icing—and I’ve never looked back! What started as a hobby quickly turned into my full-time passion, creating hand-decorated sugar cookies that make every celebration a little sweeter.

I specialize in custom cookies for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, and everything in between. Whether it’s a classic set or a detailed portrait cookie, I love turning your ideas into edible art.

When I’m not in my kitchen baking up cookies, you can find me teaching cookie decorating classes, experimenting with new designs, or laughing with my husband, kids, and parents (my biggest cheerleaders and occasional cookie helpers!).

Every cookie that leaves my kitchen is made with love, a whole lot of creativity, and just the right amount of sprinkles. 💕
