I’ve always had a soft spot for steampunk fashion, so I wanted to challenge myself with a cookie design that pushed my skills a little further. Meet Steampunk Miranda—she turned out even better than I imagined!

One of the biggest hurdles was figuring out how to get a realistic leather effect using nothing but royal icing. I had no clue where to start, so I spent some time studying leather textures, took a deep breath, and just went for it—painting directly onto the icing. It was a bit of a risk, but it ended up being such a fun process, and I absolutely love the final result.
